Reviews
86 - TOTGS
So this is my first ever review on a player. I really don't know where to start. I bought the cardy for 460k (I was able to snipe him when he was about 510k) and was very happy about it. I loved the regular card of Mbappe so I was looking forward to using him. I played him as a striker in a 4231 and as a right striker in a 41212. Now the problem of Mbappe wasn't that he missed a lot of chances or didn't score when he had to but that he was alwas in the wrong position for me. His stats weren't that bad, in 70 games he got 35 assists and 35 goals. But as I played him as the only striker in a 4231 most of the time I obviously expected more of him. He was behind my Cam while attacking and didn't start good runs as his 83 rated card did. As a result his pace was nearly useless. Don't get me wrong if you can play him he might be great but for me he didn't work at all. Im currently playing 87 rated Son and he is way better already and costs 200k less. I'm probably going to get his normal card again but this one was absolutely disgusting. Funny thing of the story is, that his regular card scored about twice as much as that awesome looking TOTGS card. I played him alongside 86 Sané, Prime Del Piero 92 and regular Martial 82 so that was definitely not the problem. I really didn't want to believe it but to be honest with you he's shit.

I Used Mbappe RF after I tried him in regular version (83 ST) and he was really great for his value
I packed Ramos toty and petit prime and I change my team to really same team with mbappe, grizzi, jesus if, roberto carlos and more more more...
His Agility and balance Is pretty low and you can feel is pace is 80 sometimes. He finish fucking GREAT!! every shot in 15-20meter is in. And longshots? only 72? xD
he shoot really great from 25-30meters and more.
Finishing everything
Really peacy if you send him
Great physic
Low agility
Low balance
feel heavy and slowly sometimes
Price and postion
Bad dribbling In-game
People hype Mbappe up so much but I'll be real with you, he isn't amazing but he also isn't too far off from being amazing. I play him next to Del Piero and Henry so he struggles to be the breakout forward as he is statistically the worst of the 3. You are probably looking at this card looking for a goalscorer but thats not entirely how he plays out. He can score the goals sure but in my squad he plays next to Del Piero and Henry so he usually isn't getting the green light to fire away unless he has a clear cut chance. IMO you will not find a better right wing player who can slot the ball between the post and the keeper for a goal at a tight angle (Ive tried Bale, Messi, Both Okocha's, Salah's OTW, CR7 on 7 chem) nobody can finish that ball better. In my first 10 games I was seriously underwhelmed as I spent nearly 500k on him then I realized he isn't going to be the standout forward in my line, and when I realized that he really started to shine. Once I stopped expecting him to be a god he was finding him self in amazing natural positions to finish shots. He always delivers good passes in the final third so if you switch to a 4-3-1-2 in game he slots nicely into the CAM position. Sometimes he muffs a chance or two but that happens with every player.
In review he is a good player to round out your squad, I'd pick the ST version over the RF version if your squad isn't the best as he will have more of an impact at ST. Solid solid player if you can get him for sub 400k then he is defiantly worth pulling the trigger on.
finesse shots
tight finishes
composure
holds his own with legends and other high rated players
pushed off the ball at times
sometimes he isn't agile enough
goes missing at times
He disappointed me too much. Balance and dribbling are very bad. Worse than 83 version. Seems like too pacey but easily overpowered by alex sandro or rose or even alaba. He can't long shots also. Basicly don't spend too much money on him. There are lots of better choises like Alessandrini, 84 Lozano.
